Andrew has specialised in irrigation system specification, design and management for over 35 years. He was responsible for the design, technical support and commissioning of major golf, agricultural and landscape projects for contractors and manufacturers throughout Asia and Australia. This developed deep practical knowledge of the diverse operation and maintenance issues in different cultures and climates.

In addition to design and supervision services, Andrew has conducted numerous operator training courses and worked with many clients to improve their irrigation skills and practices.

As Principal Consultant of HydroPlan Adelaide, Andrew manages a team of certified irrigation professionals and delivers no-nonsense services to hundreds of public and private clients. The diverse range of projects includes pumping and control systems for Councils, intensive landscape irrigation for Botanic Gardens, recycled water management plans, rural drinking water systems, and irrigation and drainage for golf courses in Vietnam.
