Coolmore Horse Stud, Jerrys Plains NSW

HydroPlan designed a new pumping station and irrigation system for this international horse stud in NSW.

The pumping station can draw 300 L/s from the river using a 500kW VFD control package.

The 323ha pasture irrigation system uses mobile irrigators and fixed sprinklers.

About Us > Principals > Colin Campbell

Colin is Principal Consultant at HydroPlan's Perth office and has been with the company for over 16 years. In 1994 he developed and implemented HydroPlan's AS9001 Quality Assurance system.

Colin has been involved with irrigation and pumping systems since 1975 and has held senior management positions in sales, manufacturing, product development, commercial system design and project management. His experience includes agricultural, landscape and golf irrigation systems in Europe, Asia and throughout Australia.

Colin is a Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) in the disciplines of Commercial Turf, Golf and Agricultural Irrigation, and a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA), Certified Irrigation Agronomist (CIA) and also holds a Diploma of Irrigation. He is a Board member of the Irrigation Australia Limited and has been a member of the IAL Certification Board for many years.
