Eastern Golf Club, Doncaster, Melbourne
An important component in the design and documentation on this project was provision for storm (lightning) protection of the field cables, computer and new pump station at Doncaster's popular golf course.
A new decoder based control system using the existing 240 volt power conduits was designed together with an upgrade of mainline to accommodate the increased flow from a new packaged pump station.
The two surface irrigation storage ponds provide the system supply and also plays a part in delaying the considerable storm water flows from the local area catchment that the local council has to contend with.
