Primageone47

HydroPlan designed a new pumping station and irrigation system for this international horse stud in NSW.

The pumping station can draw 300 L/s from the river using a 500kW VFD control package.

The 323ha pasture irrigation system uses mobile irrigators and fixed sprinklers.

Centennial Parklands

Considered by many experts as one of the finest examples of urban park in the world, Centennial Parklands has been gracing the Sydney metropolis since Federation and now entertains over 5 million visitors each year.

Incorporating some 360 hectares of public open space it includes both passive and active recreational areas.

HydroPlan has been engaged by the Park administrator (Centennial park & Moore Park Trust) since 1992 in master planning, design and documentation as well as administration of their total irrigation requirements.

Two central management control systems monitor and manage nine ground water borehole pumps and a large lake storage system.

Irrigated areas include some 100 hectares of active turf surfaces including a Group One 18 hole public golf course and extensive equestrian facilities.
