The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is widely recognised as one of the world's finest botanic gardens. There are 12,000 species and 52,000 individual plants in the living collections, including trees and other plants of great cultural value.

The jewel of the Pacific coast

Following a preliminary report to define scope, budget and methodology, HydroPlan was engaged to take the irrigation upgrade project from concept through to completion.

Detailed design and documentation was split into three specialist contracts for this renowned 18-hole course.

Following modelling of sprinkler layout alternatives, greens were irrigated with 6 heads on an ellipse to suit the green shapes and high winds.
